Here’s what you need to know about our market this holiday season.

It’s hard to believe November is already here! Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and after that, there will be no time at all before Christmas. However, the holiday season isn’t the only season in real estate.

You may have heard people talk about seasonality and our market. It’s the idea that different times of the year are better for buying and selling homes. Typically, the holiday season is considered a slower period, but is that the case this year?

“Whether you’re looking to buy or sell, it’s a great time to get into the market.”

Last week, a lot of listings came on the market, and homes were still receiving multiple offers. This doesn’t seem like a slower market to me. If you’re a buyer, does it still make sense to hop into our “slower” holiday market? In my opinion, the answer is yes. If you have time to get to closing, now is still a good time to buy a home.

Meanwhile, it’s not a bad time to sell either. Your home is probably already clean, and it’s an emotional time for a lot of people. With minimal changes, you could get a great deal on your home.

If you’re looking to buy or sell, please reach out to us via phone or email. We’d love to help you navigate our holiday market!
